What makes us different

Three competencies that no other consulting firm can offer.

Our DNA

Since 2005, a model that has never stopped evolving.

3H was born as an entrepreneurial initiative of a group of PhD students from an international business school who, inspired by the great Harvard professors and their managerial approach, set out to create a consulting model that would bring together academic excellence, industry knowledge and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Not a firm that delivers predefined, standard solutions, but a company that builds autonomy within client teams, transferring method, skills and strategic vision so that they stay inside the organisation.

All of this happens across three horizons (3Horizon)

The DNA of 3H draws on the best managerial and entrepreneurial theories, applied to each industry while taking into account the different features of its competitive dynamics, always with an entrepreneurial approach focused on practicality and on pursuing opportunities.

Horizon Short-term

where results must be delivered

Horizon Medium-term

where future success must be built

Horizon Long-term

where the company’s vision must be held firm

What makes us different

Three competencies that no other consulting firm can offer.

3H was born from their fusion: not a sum of services, but a radically different way of thinking.

From the very beginning, its founders and those who followed them have learned to approach business challenges through these three competencies, across the three horizons.

01

Industry knowledge

A forward-looking reading of the trends reshaping industries: the forces of change studied before they become visible, thanks to a real operational presence across different industries and markets.

02

Entrepreneurial mindset

We support entrepreneurs and managers through strategic and operational challenges with concrete solutions, designed to deliver tangible results, not just recommendations.

03

Academic excellence

Direct access to international research and to those who produce it, through relationships with leading universities and scholars: solutions grounded in evidence, not in management fads applied indiscriminately.

Where these three dimensions meet, an approach is born that brings together

strategic vision,operational concretenessand methodological rigour.

Our approach

The distinctive 3H approach

The 3H approach combines strategic consulting and education in a model designed to support entrepreneurs and managers not only in defining solutions, but also in building the skills needed to implement them and adapt them over time.

Consulting

Solves a specific problem, but the skills do not stay in the company.

Executive education

Develops people, but often remains far from real execution.

The 3H model

Immediate impact and long-term managerial development: the skills stay inside the company.

Who we are

Who signs the method? Who answers for the result?

No junior teams, no artificial intelligence in place of people: every project is followed directly by senior professionals, involved from the first conversation until the expected results are achieved.

This ensures continuity, direct accountability and ongoing dialogue with professionals who understand the company’s challenges and can turn them into method, decisions and concrete actions.

Roberta Delmastro · Chief Executive Officer

Roberta is the CEO of 3H Consulting: her connection with 3H goes back to its origins and has grown stronger from 2016 to today. Her background in Engineering and her PhD in Management from the University of Turin – with a thesis on the business model and distinctive DNA of family firms – are enriched by research and co-teaching in executive education programmes at ESCP Europe. She has built her career combining method, practicality and a constant focus on results – the same combination she looks for every day in the projects she leads with her clients and her team.

In recent years, also thanks to her work with Bernardo, she has developed specific expertise in family firms and family business dynamics.

Since 2005 she has worked across strategic consulting and executive education, supporting multinationals, entrepreneurial companies and management teams through times of major change and growth: reorganisations, turnarounds, capability building, new business models, strategic plans and new market challenges. Her projects include the turnaround of a historic company in the spa and tourism sector, the redesign of the market access model for a multinational pharmaceutical group, and a capability building and change management programme for a leading private banking group.

Her career has not been limited to consulting: for three years she held an internal executive role as Corporate Development Manager in an industrial group in the textile and fashion sector, reporting directly to the CEO during a phase of deep transformation and sitting on the group’s Leadership Team – an experience that let her see organisational dynamics from the inside, not only as an external advisor.

She has gained solid cross-industry experience in sectors such as banking and private banking, tourism, consumer goods, energy & utilities, fashion, retail and services – including a direct entrepreneurial experience as manager of a waste-to-energy start-up. Her career combines strategic consulting, project leadership, executive education and support for transformation and growth.

Alongside her consulting work, she serves as a Board Member of several innovative companies. She is the author of the book Change Management and Organisational Transformation (McGraw Hill, 2012).
